The following may provide or arrange disabled accessible holiday accommodation or provide support for those in need. Some may require referral by a professional. The list has been compiled by ACE from our research or recommendation however we do not have the resources to make checks, we do not endorse or offer an opinion on these listings, they are provided for reference in good faith.

Donna’s Dream House - "The Donna’s Dream House Charity in Blackpool is a locally based trust, providing free holiday experiences for children and teenagers with life-threatening illnesses and their families."

 

Dukes Barn - "Dukes Barn Outdoor Activity Centre provides adventurous activities for people of all ages and abilities. The Centre is situated in Beeley, which is one of the villages on the Chatsworth Estate, in the heart of the Peak District National Park in Derbyshire."

 

Family Fund - Helping disabled children - give grants to families raising disabled and seriously ill children

Ski 2 Freedom Foundation - "UK charity created to be an inspiration for winter-based activities and experiences for anyone affected by life-changing needs, serious health conditions, disability or where health and mental welfare is affected by economic or social disadvantage."

 

The Youth Cancer Trust - "The Youth Cancer Trust provides support and free holidays at the Tracy Ann House in Bournemouth for teenagers and young adults (aged 14 to 30) with cancer from anywhere in the UK and Ireland."

Clevedon Convalescent Fund - A Christian charity which makes grants for UK residents of limited means who need a convalescent break following illness or trauma, individuals caring for people with health problems or a disability.

 

Family Holiday Charity, formerly known as Family Holiday Association - "For over 40 years, the Family Holiday Charity / Family Holiday Association has provided breaks for UK families struggling with issues such as disability, severe and sudden illness, bereavement, mental health issues and domestic violence."

 

Torbay Holiday Helpers Network THHN - "Torbay Holiday Helpers Network provides free fun filled memory making holidays, to families who have seriously ill children, families who are recently bereaved"
